In The Past

I use music, poetry and digital content to explore the roles, needs and implied reoccurring themes of society. I also enjoy analyzing commentary on the differences between archetypical ideals and reality. As an author and a singer-songwriter, I’ve spent nearly a decade growing. It took me years to translate my personal collection of journals, notes and ideas into poetry. Transforming many of the poems into a demo album in 2014, Vanity, went #1 on Reverbnation’s local indie chart.

After some involvement in in Toronto’s drag performance community I continued to write about my experiences. In 2018, I released my debut album ‘After Paradise’ along with my first book ‘Rose Rosary Ring’. My disordered anxiety and mood led me to explore mindfulness and mental health so my newer projects aim to combine genres of poetic, musical and written pieces. By blending multiple ideas from various points of my creative journey I want to reflect concepts that I’ve learned and how it’s helped me.
